The IFM-Platform is an industrial USB platform leveraging all the benefits of USB and truly offering an Industrial Universal Serial Bus.

The IFM-Platform offers an indstrial robust connection with separate power supply lines maintaining the hotplugability.

Enclosures can vary widely and by default there is a 19”-Station type, housing 12 modules and a Drivebay-Station type which can fit into a CD-Rom slot and house 4 modules.

Using the IFM Platform one can deploy lots of enclosures and adapt modules to new technology as they come along.

This with the ease and low cost of USB and the robustness of other industrial busses.
