Intellidiff

 

On larger construction sites it’s almost always needed to install multiple RTK base stations to cover the complete area with high quality differential correction data. These different base stations are all working on different UHF frequencies (radio frequencies used to transmit differential corrections). For optimal quality of RTK fix, the rover should always connect to the closest base station by switching frequency.

 

To avoid that these station switches should be performed manually, MGB-Tech has created the intellidiff. In this device you can set all the base frequencies of your site and it will automatically choose the radio frequency which has the strongest UHF signal. The instrument should be connected to an MGB-Tech RTK receiver. The radio of the receiver will be automatically switched to the optimal base station.

The intellidiff can also be used manually to switch between base stations or can be integrated in larger applications thanks to the RS-232 configuration ports that accept well documented commands.
