DM70 Programmer

The DM70 data radio from Maxon is used throughout the product range of MGB-Tech and is mainly present in the first TideStation line.

The radios can be programmed for different settings, for which Maxon has created an application. Unfortunately this application only runs on computers with DOS as OS.

Since DOS running computers are a dying kind, usage of Maxon’s application is limited and especially problemsome in the field.

This was reason enough for MGB-Tech to develop a first class radio programming unit which would overcome these problems, the DM70Programmer.

On top of overcoming the problems, the DM70Programmer delivers flexibility, ease and intuitive usage, modern standards and technologies.

The DM70Programmer device is connected to the Maxon radio through a 1-1 RS232 serial cable and to the computer with a standard usb connector. On the computer a Windows compatible program can run which can communicate with the programmer.

Communication with the programmer as also saving the data in files is done with XML, which has many advantages.
