MTU821-DRO
The MTU821-DRO Radio Tide Receiver Stations offer tide fluctuation monitoring using ‘over-the-air’
messages transmitted on a MTU821 wireless network.
The MTU821-DRO is built in a 3U 19-inch unit and may either be used ‘desktop’ or be slides into a standard

Frequency coverage:
Surveyors operating all over the world know very well that operating channels permitted by local authorities
vary widely. Our Radio Tide Stations contain a synthesized wide-band transceiver and channel switching is
only a matter of seconds.
Large, easy-to-read display:
The MTU radio tide stations are modern, microprocessor based systems with large LCD-display and
requiring only a few controls to operate. Station configuration, channel selection and transducer selection are
completely software controlled: no screwdrivers are required to change operating modes, no configuration
jumpers are to be set.
Simultaneous display of 4 Transmitter Stations:
Tide messages from four Tide Transmitter Stations can be read from the dis play allowing to monitor tide
variations over a wide area. One of these stations is selected as Primary Station and tide messages from the
Primary Station are displayed in large font. characters.
Transmitter Station Power Check:
All MTU821 Tide Transmitter Stations offer the possibility to add the internal battery voltage to the tide
message. This battery level is than shown on the receiver display next to the tide message of the transmitter
station.
